More About Me: After becoming a first-gen graduate, I have been working as an immigration legal assistant for a small law office in the Los Angeles area. As a legal assistant I have become advanced in juggling multiple tasks at once. My day-to-day schedule fluctuates from communicating with clients, drafting legal documents, preparing immigration petitions, and responding to immigration inquiries. Despite the challenges of a fast paced and ever-changing schedule, I really enjoy my work because it allows me to be creative and resourceful. I have the power to break from the norm and find innovative ways to effectively complete my daily tasks. As an immigrant myself, I take pride in my work and understand the crucial role I play in my community. I understand how challenging and discouraging the immigration process can be, so I am more than willing to provide my assistance and make the process more manageable for my clients. Furthermore, I also have experience working with elementary and middle school students in the Los Angeles area. As a Literacy Tutor/Program Leader, I was able to learn the value of patience, communication, and collaboration. All of these skills were crucial in assisting my students meet their academic goals.Apart from that, in my free time, I really enjoy being a soccer fanatic.
