As the chief x-ray technologist, in addition to taking digital x-rays, I prepare monthly x-ray schedules and supervise four x-ray technologists. I electronically transmit digital studies to the radiologist for reading and download the reports when done. As needed, I relieve the receptionist and sign patients in and out at the front desk as well as post billing charges, and collect payment or co-payment as indicated. I also answer the telephone and pull charts. I generate, mail, track and do data entry for our Random Drug Testing Consortium following DOT Federal guidelines. I also correspond with the companies in our Consortium, both written and orally. I create forms used for accounting, charting and x-ray and our onsite laboratory management. As needed, I provide translation (English/Spanish) services between staff and patients.

I managed the ‘timely allocation’ department of this very busy 401k daily processing and record keeping corporation. I supervised five processors, tracked client contributions submitted with errors that included missing allocation data, and was the communication liaison between our corporation, our corporate offices and our clients.

I set up this family practice which included creating and implementing policies and procedures. I was also the chief x-ray technologist and I supervised six staff members that included one x-ray tech, two medical billers, two receptionists and two nurses. I supervised medical billing and did follow-up of unpaid claims with both insurance companies and patients. I posted insurance and patient payments. I called insurance companies to pre-certify special examinations for our patients. I generated and monitored the monthly AR reports.
