-A16 was honored with the James Beard award in 2015 for the Best Wine Program in the Nation, after multiple years in the top five.-Managed all aspects of a very extensive southern Italian wine program including placing orders, processing deliveries and monthly inventory, pricing to ensure profit and value, and ensuring diversity of cost and style on the wine list, while showing the best regional representations. -Responsible for staff training and education. Created and maintained an extensive wine education log, arranged staff tastings, seminars with local producers and importers, as well as did daily education to keep everyone up to date on the rotating list of forty plus dry wines, twenty plus sweet wines, and bevy of beer and aperitivi available nightly by the glass. -Created wine pairings to showcase the list and compliment the cuisine for tasting menus, private parties and special events. Also hosted frequent wine dinners and industry tastings.-Worked the floor nightly, helping guests navigate the list to find their ideal wine selection.
