Living Independence is a non profit organization in Beaverton, OR. Specializing in section 8 housing. Our communities are developed to create a supportive environment for young adults with disabilities who are living on their own. Previously the organization run by a 3rd party property management. My role is on-boarding of the community to managed in house. Eliminating the need for a property management company. This transition includes the hiring and training of all staff, the set up of contracts and budgets for 2023 as well as all required HUD credentials and certifications.

With Apartment Management Consultants my speciality was the redevelopment of communities. Working closely with local contractors we were able to focus restoration of the portfolio while remaining under budget and significantly increasing the value of the acquisition. -Over site of 120 units - Accomplish financial objectives; collecting rent, preparing annual budgets, analyzing variances, managing delinquency.- Implementing contracts for property renovations including - asphalt, roofing, painting, and renovation of units. - Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.- Establishing rental rate by surveying local rental rates and calculating overhead costs, depreciation, taxes and profit goals.

DPMI specializes in property management for manufactured home communities while RV Inn Style focuses on Acquisitions and Management of RV parks across the Pacific NW. I worked within both sides of the company. Overseeing management operations for DPMI and on-boarding of acquisitions for RV Inn Style style. Below are my listed responsibilities within RV Inn Style. - On-boarding new acquisitions including new hire paperwork and in- house training. - Software installation and system set up. - Creating budgets based on current financials and a 90 day plan to meet goals. - Analyze currently policys and procedures to seek areas of improvement. - Installation of community maintenance contracts and licenses.
