Led a division of 12 Sailors and 1 civilian in Assured Command and Control (C2) providing resilient communications and mission essential network availability for major warfare commanders, the carrier air wing, and 8 surface combatant units.

As a primary Space Subject Matter Expert within Navy Space Command, I organized and directed the cross-functional team of Space experts across the Navy and the joint Space community to provide and employ operational space capabilities. A pivotal member of numerous US Space Command operational planning efforts in developing and maturing space capabilities, refining command and control, while contributing and integrating Naval forces to provide increased space capabilities in conflict and competition.

I worked on the technical interoperability of the Navy's tactical data links (TDL). TDL allows different platforms and entities to communicate their operational picture and exchange real-time radar, weapons status, and geospatial data to warfare commanders to increase their war fighting situational awareness.-Contributor to the Link 16 Technical Interoperability Standards Group and identified technical solutions for data link interface change proposals to meet prioritized fleet operational requirements.-Expertly adopted Navy Knowledge Online as a collaboration tool for knowledge management of updates, reviews, and communication among 19 US entities and government agencies.

-Led 12 Sailors in the operation and preventive maintenance of the shipboard communications suite; and the operation and security of the local area network to support various missions. -Oversaw DEWEY’s ADP/LAN Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) through the planning and execution of $670K in network upgrades.

-Managed and led 25 Sailors in the operation and preventive maintenance of four gas turbine engines, three gas generators, and all associated auxiliary equipment to support Dewey’s maiden deployment. -Trained 20 personnel on damage control and firefighting techniques directly supporting surface ship survivability.
