I believe that education is the main tool to transform people and society, and the direct connection with people is primordial to positively impact both society and the environment. I am an entrepreneur and an enthusiastic about innovations that seek eco-efficiency solutions that solves problems by adding sustainable values.I am a PhD and Msc in ​​Ecology of Aquatic and Terrestrial Ecosystems (IB-USP), graduated in Biological Sciences (UNESP), as well as a specialist in Environmental Planning and Management.Since 2005, I have been working in parallel between academia and environmental consulting, which allows me to bring a holistic / systemic view of complex systems to the consulting environment, as well as to bring to my research environment the multidisciplinary knowledge I acquired coordinating and executing environmental studies and projects of varying complexity, regarding to the biotic, physical and socioeconomic environment.The experience in business management and strategic planning, which I obtained from being responsible for the environmental sector of ​​a multinational Environmental Consulting Company, was fundamental for the development of my own business.Regarding my performance as a scientist, my research involves the use of GIS-Based Decision Making Models, Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing to determine degrees of fragility or environmental quality, in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, in the face of environmental changes (climate change and deforestation, for example), with an emphasis on the landscape (Landscape Ecology and Landscape Limnology) under the Complex Systems approach.
