I am a Physician and a Health Policy and Systems Researcher with previous work in the Philippine government (Department of Health) and an international development agency (United States Agency for International Development) on raising health outcomes and quality of life through national reforms on health financing, service delivery and governance. Currently, I am a part-time technical consultant assisting the Department of Health in crafting priority health competencies that learners and teachers must have from early, basic and higher education across the Philippines - in hopes of increasing health literacy in childhood and youth and well into adulthood. I have demonstrable capacity in leadership and project management, critical thinking and framework design, and collaborative work approaches within teams and across stakeholders in local and international institutions.
