GB&C is a Chicago-based professional services organization providing a client-centered approach with fully customizable legal, educational, and advisory services for individuals, businesses, and organizations. What does this support take shape as? (1) We provide worldwide legal services related to immigration and cannabis law in the United States. (2) We offer educational workshops on how to best support adults and children with various citizenship statuses within a variety of community settings (ie. work, school, etc.).(3) We facilitate workplace training to help reach company goals by maximizing the workforce potential. This is accomplished by providing training education on various topics related to inclusion with the goal to improve work environments, reduce customer risk, and create new opportunities for employees. Our services address the intersectionality of workplace, community, and citizenship. • Develops and implement case strategy pertaining to immigration law and procedure, for family-based, naturalization, student, and children matters. • Expands services into consulting for businesses and organizations in need of turning their managerial goodwill into actual welcoming spaces for all. • Conducts assessment of client on social, psychological, and economic functioning and determines appropriate intervention, referrals, and proper case strategy. • Performs contracting work on behalf of other attorneys or law firms.

• Provided and gather information regarding weekly intake for immigrants seeking legal assistance.• Responded to Family Support Network hotline to provide legal advice for immigrants in immigration detention and emergency situations.• Reviewed facts and supporting documents of each case and analyze in light of immigration law. • Developed in-depth knowledge of legal and other resources available.• Drafted legal documents including motions, applications, and briefs.• Prepared cases for hearing and/or interview with the Executive Office for Immigration Review, Department of Homeland Security and/or Department of State officials. • Represented PASO at networking and community outreach events.
