Hi, I am the Founder and President of Alpha Financial Management, a fee-only wealth management firm serving clients by using a consultative process to help them achieve all that is important to them. We promote total financial wellness and a successful investment experience.Our clients take advantage of the research done by Nobel prize winners, including economist Dr. Eugene Fama, by utilizing Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA). I have been involved in the financial services industry since 1984. I have a wide background of educational and business experience with a master’s degree in mathematics, a doctorate in mathematics education and post graduate courses in financial strategies and economics.My dedication and commitment extend beyond my office. I am a member of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce. I serve on the Advisory Board for the Economics Department at Atlantic Armstrong University and the Advisory Board for the College of Business at Savannah State University. I served on the Finance Committee as a Trustee for the Atlantic Armstrong University Foundation.Girls on the Run (GOTR) is an after school program for pre-teens that uses the power of running to help prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. I helped bring GOTR to the Savannah area and am now serving as the Board Chair for the Girls on the Run of Coastal Georgia My husband, Michael, and I have five children and twelve grandchildren. In my leisure time I enjoy playing the piano, knitting, and competing in triathlons. I became an Ironman in November 2005.
