For my final internship I wrote a thesis about the influence of motives, obstacles and stimulants on sports participation choices. The purpose of this thesis was advising Aleco Sport Visions on sports promotion in the Roosendaal area.

For two years I was head coach of the second ladies team of student basketball club NSBV Trajanum. 2014 the team promoted from the 1st class regional to the 2nd national division. I helped achieve the teams goal to increase the level of play and remain in this league.

During my two seasons as President it was my ambition to stimulate the expand the number of Trajanum members and to increase the level of professionalism. At Sportknooppunt Ede I was responsible for managing the social media and website. The mail contact with students and representing the students of the Kenniscampus Ede in meetings of the Sportknooppunt Ede were also part of my main activities.

The municipality of Ede has formulated the goal to unite the educational institutions in the area of 'Maandereng' (Ede) into one campus (Kenniscampus Ede). A vital part of this campus is sports. Therefore a collaboration started between the educational institutions, 'Sportservice Ede' and several sports organizations in the area of 'Maandereng'. They applied and received funding from the 'Sport Impuls' foundation for their project. The goal of this project was to get students more physically active and to motivate them to work out on a regular basis. A fellow student and myself were responsible for writing an advisory report on this matter, which now forms the guideline for the actual realization of the plans.

As Student Ambassador of Sports and Health Management Studies I informed high school students who were to choose their future education. I always tried to listen as carefully as possible to make sure I provided the best advice possible.

In the Study Programme Committee eight members (four students and four teachers) were appointed to give advice on policy matters concerning the Sport and Health Management Studies in Nijmegen. Once a month we gathered to discuss and generate feedback for the management. As a student member of the committee I also attended audits, programme committee trainings and accreditations.

The student company Walk2Go was run by six Sports and Health Management students of the 'Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen'. Walk2Go won the first price in the HBO Company Launch in Arnhem. We developed the SoftHandle, a comfortable device to help avoid physical discomfort of the hands caused by using crutches. At Walk2Go it was my responsibility to manage the production and human resources.
