Reception and Placement(R&P) case manager

Direct role in managing grant funding related to comprehensive support of refugee and asylum clients. Services provided included rental/utility assistance, immigration and legal assistance, providing food, clothing, and personal care items. Providing detailed support with regards to the facility daily functions as well as staff and visitor duties as a part of showcasing the venue.▪ Coordinated e-mail inquiries and responses from third party entities with rental use details, including large event planning of weddings, baby showers, concerts, etc.,▪ Conducted the staging and post event breakdown of the location for all scheduled events.▪ Managed venue tours for society members and scheduled visitors interested in renting the location.▪ Onsite docent for all visitors to the museum portion of the organization. ▪ Organized office support, including telephones, messages, and venue scheduling for the entire staff. ▪ Promote internal events on vendor websites for the hosting of movie screenings, webinars, andfundraisers.

Selected for internship by IRC Case Manager to support the Victims of Human Trafficking Division. Role helped support clients (both domestic and international) with accessing the available IRC resources across multiple departments. ▪ Assisted clients with job applications, including instruction on form completion. ▪ Helped support adult education classes covering household budgeting.▪ Guided clients with local government - school enrollment processes for their children.
