As Secretary at Vietnam Veterans of America - Wisconsin State Council my duties and responsibilities to record and maintain records of all Council meetings, actions, and significant activities that have a direct or indirect impact on Wisconsin Vietnam Era Veterans. Additionally, as Secretary my responsibilities include maintaining records and reports, as provided, of VVA-WSC Chapters throughout Wisconsin.

Plan and direct public relations and marketing activities designed to create and maintain a positive image for Vietnam Veterans of America, active servicemen and women and other Wisconsin veterans. Develop a network of Wisconsin veterans and citizens to share the stories of veterans and provide public relations and marketing opportunities for Wisconsin chapters, county and state conferences and sponsored conventions for Vietnam and Wisconsin veterans and their families.In Fall 2013 the main objective is to coordinate the PR and marketing initiatives for Wisconsin's Statewide Townhall Meeting on Agent Orange and Dioxin. This activity is an extension of Vietnam Veterans of America's nationwide initiative to gain more information on this insidious poison that affected men and women in Southeast Asia between 1962 and 1975; and continues to affect the veterans' spouses, their children, and grandchildren.

Responsible for ensuring accurate and sufficient documentation reflecting the activities and actions of the Foundation Board. All responsibilities are subject to the WVF bylaws vis a vis records of minutes of proposed policies and practices, and sub-committee reports; maintain designated records, and fulfill any other requirements of the President and or Board of Directors.Develop, monitor and maintain electronic media for the Wisconsin Veterans Foundation, including its website.

In turn, the National Biennial Symposium for Veterans works to identify means, methods, and opportunities to assist veterans in reaching their fullest personal and professional potential in civilian. The National Biennial Symposium for Veterans is sponsored by the Wisconsin Veterans Foundation, Inc. in conjunction with other partners and supporters concerned for America's veterans..

The Community Development Authority is authorized to transact business and exercise any and all powers, duties, and functions set out in Sections 66.40 and 66.431 of the Wisconsin Statutes for housing and redevelopment authorities.Upon proper resolution of the Common Council, the CDA acts as agent of the City in planning and carrying out any community development programs and activities approved by the Mayor and the Common Council under the Federal Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, and to perform all acts, except the development of the general plan of the City, which may be otherwise performed by the City Plan Commission under certain sections of the Wisconsin Statutes.

Collaborate with Executive Board of Directors in the identification of local senior citizen needs and identify solutions including funding opportunities through established local, state and federal resources as well as additional public and private granting sources.

Responsible for project funding programs for ongoing arts and cultural activities e.g., capital campaign leading to inter-community Arts and Cultural Center. Prepares statement of planned activities. Identifies potential contributors and supporters of ongoing operations employing past records, individual and corporate contracts, and knowledge of community. Participates in the planning and coordination of benefit events, such as musicals, art exhibitions, banquets, balls, and auctions. Informs potential contributors of special program needs and encourages individuals, corporations, and foundations to establish or contribute to special funds through endowments, trusts, donations of gifts-in-kind, or bequests, conferring with attorneys to establish methods of transferring funds to benefit both donors and institution. Researches public and private grant agencies and foundations to identify other sources of funding for research, community service, or other projects.

Provide an innovative and eclectic approach to electronic communication solutions in, implementation and marketing services for very small, small and medium sized businesses, industries, organizations, associations as well as individuals. Solutions are designed to enlighten and empower decision-makers in the integration of real-time and virtual business design structure and integration. Exec Marketing provides the knowledge base to integrate 21st Century technology resources into today's start-up organizations as well as those who have a fully established market niche.

Associate Dean of the Career and Workplace Education Department charged with developing and delivering career services to both potential students, students, and the community at-large in search of career direction. Developed both passive, classroom-based, and interactive (computer) career exploration and assessment opportunities. The WCTC's Career Center was and continues to be one of Wisconsin's most innovative self-service and classroom based career services provided housed in Wisconsin's first Workforce Development Center. Developed and implemented a career exploration and assessment battery (i.e. psycho-motor, psycho-educational, and career) to be administered within the contracting school. Individualized diagnostics, educational intervention recommendations, and career exploration and planning recommendations were provided in both educational planning formats and narrative formats for the student and parent.Additional responsibilities included the development of career-related business and industry services (e.g., inplacement, outplacement, development of job specific assessments, and workplace literacy or education). Workplace education services grew from one company in 1984 to more than 100 businesses and industries with locations in Wisconsin and globally. Services led to providing more than 20 professional adult educators being housed in employer-employee structured education sites within businesses.

Configured, designed, developed and modified both computer hardware and software leading to competitive employment for injured and developmentally disabled individuals.Developed and presented training in the areas of computer literacy, proprietary and third party software application, and general application of DBMS, CAI, CBT, CT, as well as introduction to Basic, HTML and UNIX.Adjunct Developer for Apple, Inc. developed software applications for both the Apple// series and original Macintosh. Also, created and marketed three applications as a developer: MULTIBASE (an IEP data base program), OCCU-SCAN (Career Guidance System) and Resume Writer. Developed a proprietary/custom hardware/software application for cable network broadcast of General and Emergency Announcements.

Director of education program for adjudicated adolescent girls in grades eight through 12 within a residential facility. Duties included executive administration of education program, education staff, and aides. Maintained working relationship with the University of Wisconsin as a practicum site and learning laboratory in the areas of learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and psychometrics.

Adjunct professor in the area of special education skilled in the areas of psycholinguistics, psycho-education assessment, psychometrics, and test development. Developed and presented classes to undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students in the areas of: Introduction to Special or Exceptional Education; Law, Civil Rights and Education; and Diagnostic Tools and Techniques for Adolescents and Adults with Psycho-Educational Disabilities. Designated Supervisor of Graduate and Post-Graduate Level Practicum/Internship for students in Exceptional Education and Learning Disabilities. Designed graduate level practicum curriculum for students seeking licensure in the area of K-8, 8-12, adolescent, or adult learning and/or behavioral disabilities.
