Employing a blend of technology, language, art, and imagination, he creates captivating virtual environments for guests to explore, learn, and interact with.As a former developer for Apple(TM) Computer, educator (K-12, post-secondary, and graduate and post-graduate), residential treatment and community college administrator, and business owner, Mullarkey blends his education, imagination, and business experiences to engineer solutions or re-engineer problems and challenges into solutions. As a researcher and practitioner in one of the first Adult Learning Disabilities Study in the United States, Mullarkey has led or was a team member in educational and psychoeducational research studies for all ages (e.g., neonates to geriatrics). Mullarkey enjoyed nearly 25 years of in the field of education as a psychoeducational diagnostician, teaching children and adults, serving in residential treatment, instructing as an adjunct professor, and supervising students at the graduate and post-graduate levels. As a Community College Associate Dean, Mullarkey and his team successfully placed more than 10,000 dislocated or unemployed workers through the mid-'80s and mid-'90s, developed an interactive career center, and managed a business within a college providing Workplace Education and Industrial-Organization service. Mullarkey has received numerous educational awards and recognition from businesses and industries.Mullarkey developed proprietary hardware and software - DBMS, CAI, Cable Announcement Programs(c) 1976, Resume Writing Programs (c) 1978, 1980, and an Occupational Assessment, Analysis and Treatment Plan Program(c) 1986, authored one of the first workplace-based basic skills analysis, assessment, and training system implemented in more than 20 corporations in the US.

Workplace education services grew from one company in 1984 to more than 100 businesses and industries with locations in Wisconsin and globally. Services led to providing more than 20 professional adult educators being housed in employer-employee structured education sites within businesses.
