FRESH, which is an abbreviation for Foundation for Real Estate Students from Holland, is the largest student association for real estate students from the Netherlands. The goal of the foundation is to organize a wide range of activities in the full breadth of real estate and offer students the opportunity to get in touch with both real estate companies and other real estate students. TED is a non-profit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. TEDxDelft is a self-organised event arranged by volunteers. On February 27, 2015, TEDxDelft returns with an impressive line-up of speakers and inspiring stories. Let’s Make Things Beta, that’s the theme for 2015, and we hope to inspire you to convert your ideas and plans into actual prototypes and complete first drafts.In my role as Event Production Manager I am responsible for everything that happens outside of the theatre. TRANSFORM is about the possibilities to drastically reduce CO2 emissions in cities, in order to realize the local and EU targets; 20% lower carbon emissions, 20% of energy from renewables and 20% increase in energy efficiency. More specific is TRANSFORM about finding the barriers to reach these 20-20-20 targets and enables cities to transform to low carbon cities. TRANSFORM works with A consortium of leading european cities, energy and grid companies, commercial partners and knowledge partners. As of February 2013 I have worked full-time together with seven fellow students of the Delft University of Technology to organise the ‘OntvangstWeek’ (abbreviation: OWee, English: Introduction week). In this week all new students at the TU Delft, De Haagse Hogeschool and Inholland Delft are welcomed to the city by the educational institutions, the student societies and the city of Delft. Over 1,800 students participated in this week which took place at the end of Augustus 2013. To be able to organise good activities close collaboration was needed with a lot of parties. During the year I have be in close contact with the educational institutions, the municipality, sponsors and all kind of student associations. Together with all this parties we were able to realise a week, which will be remembered by a lot of students for the rest of their lives!
