I specialize in high energy density physics with a focus on laser-plasma interactions for fusion energy. My UCSB coursework in Optics, Quantum Mechanics, and Electromagnetism, paired with independent lab research, has provided a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of my field.Most recently, I spent five months in Osaka, Japan, working with Prof. Shinsuke Fujioka at The Institute of Laser Engineering. As a full-time student researcher I gained invaluable experience in inertial confinement fusion experiments, focusing on the analysis of electromagnetic fields and proton radiography simulations. This work sharpened my analytical and simulation skills, and deepened my understanding of the challenges and opportunities in fusion energy.I graduated from UCSB in June and am looking for opportunities in research or development roles. I am passionate about advancing fusion energy technologies and pursuing collaborations that push the boundaries of high energy density physics towards sustainable energy solutions.
