Project: Streamlined the digital discussion platform experience for a grad-level computer system course serving over 300 users (students, instructional team, staff members) :> Performed qualitative user research and quantitative data analysis to develop strategies that enhanced information architecture, improved content accessibility and delivery, and refined user experience by addressing pain points caused by high-traffic student inquiries. > Collaborated with faculty and IT staff to implement and integrate the improved redesign into the educational and learning process. > Achieved a 23.5% workload reduction for the instructional team by bringing down the students’ support-requests from 3.4k to 2.6k over 14 weeks; boosted student engagement and course satisfaction, evidenced by a 16% (216k to 252k) increase in website visits and a rise in course completions rate.Other duties:• Assisted in managing a large cohort of 260+ students, resolving student inquires and issues related to course operation. • Course Material and Logistics Management: Collaborated with professor, Course Manager (CM), and head TAs to oversee the organization and accessibility of course learning materials and learning logistics.• Student Support: Assisted the CM in addressing high-stakes inquiries and resolved issues from students, ensured a seamless learning experience.• Content Improvement and Communication: Took initiative to identify and rectify errors in learning materials, enhanced assignment instructions, and compiled common student questions and issues to create weekly FAQ announcements.• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Documented best practices and valuable insights gained during the course to benefit future TAs in subsequent semesters.
