Responsibilities included: liaise between specific projects and R&D, managing the communication with remote project managers and engineers of projects on the customer site in Israel and abroad (e.g. MediaCorp, BFM-Business, BFM-TV, Singapore Turf Club, Disney Japan, MediaSet News-Sports Newsroom, MediaSet TG5, LCI, SBS, Globo-CPP, DR-CAR II, Euronews, CyBc, BR PMS, CCMA, BBC Wales Central, CVMC, Weather Channel, Galatz), review project workflows and test scenarios, provide technical consulting and know-how to projects, review technical reports sent from projects and provide timely feedback, enforce the standard policies for projects, alert R&D management about possible issues with the project, promote the projects in the R&D by providing information about the projects and synching with the R&D.

Responsibilities included: Tier-3 support of a Client-Server system involving recording, editing, planning, management and broadcast of digital audio and video assets together with Newsroom Control Systems, deployment of projects on the customer site in Israel and abroad (e.g. FOX, E-TV, FTV, BBC, TF-1, Z1, Antenna 3, TMZ, IDC, RNF, NY1, VOA, NBC, Israel Second Authority), full support of software post-installation including writing specifications for additional integration features. Integration with third party software/hardware e.g. TV Studio Devices (Teleprompter, Character Generators ), Video Servers and implementation of MOS and III protocols, knowledge of storage systems including NAS, SAN and Cluster, writing SQL scripts and configuration of MSSQL databases, configuration and testing of applications on Web Servers (IIS, Apache Tomcat) and interaction with R&D, QA and Project management.
