A lifelong software developer now managing the IT Architecture and Development department at Red-D-Arc Welderentals, an Air Liquide company. I have been developing software since my early teenage years primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem. My passion is my career. With over a decade of professional development experience, I actively participate in a variety of IT management tasks such as hiring and developing talent, managing ISV relations, implementing ITIL service management, budgeting, risk assessing, designing software, and integrating technology. I'm also responsible for creating, updating, and publishing a variety of IT related diagrams and documentation. Key successes and highlights throughout my career thus far would include leading the integration effort for Red-D-Arc’s latest ERP implementation of Microsoft’s D365 Finance & Operations. I was challenged with stepping outside of my typical software development role to implement and manage Red-D-Arc’s PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS compliance and following annual renewal. During my tenure as a senior software developer, I wrote, implemented, and supported an infrared scanner mobile application and supporting framework that was dedicated to digitizing and integrating key warehouse processes with our ERP system. These key warehouse processes included: order fulfilling, equipment receiving, equipment service, repairs, and inventory counting. I have also been tasked with managing and executing a large divestiture transition plan.
