Senior Associate
• Execution of a highly systematic, multi-tiered and proactive investor relations program • Specific duties involve thorough analysis, generating reports and presentations to validate analysis, institutional investor targeting, daily buy-side and sell-side outreach, event planning and prospective client/sales work *Analysis: In-depth utilization of numerous databases such as Thomson, Reuters, Bloomberg, Ipreo/Bigdough, LionShares and proprietary databases to optimize data for publicly traded clients. Analyses include valuation modeling, consensus estimate cyclicality, shareholder position trends and forecasting, targeting prospective holders (equity and fixed income) and comparable analyses for investment peers. Summarized analyses sent to senior management on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. *Perception Research: Procedure includes drafting of perception questionnaire, outreach calls to analysts and intelligence gathering from proper mix of institutional investors to expose actionable results for clients. *Financial Community Interaction: Entails drafting and finalization, in close collaboration with senior management, all teleconference scripts and press releases for dissemination to the financial community. Also includes proactive research of macro-economic, sector, and company-specific environment to improve clients’ messaging platform with financial community. Research includes financial news media outlets, sell-side reports, non-profit reports, company-generated communications, and academia essays. *Client Interaction: Ongoing counsel with senior management regarding Investor Relations best practices. Interaction includes administrative management of analyses, research and messaging to ensure most effective program employed.
