Ensure that the customer service department provides the utmost and most knowledgeable customer service to both internal and external customers. To ensure that the customer service team is properly trained. Ensure on time delivery to both internal and external customers. Attend to customer visits and assist sales team as needed. Minimize company incurred costs through customer negotiations. Assist and/or fill in for customer service representatives as needed. Resolve escalated customer issues. Respond to customer calls, fax and email communications in a timely manner. Attend daily to production meetings. Communicate the meeting minutes to customer service team daily to ensure the staff proactively communicates any material delay to the customer. Process return authorization credit memos through the Solar System and maintain quality reporting log. Create reports as needed. Monthly reporting as requested by upper management. Miscellaneous office duties as needed to support administrative requirements.

Perform various clerical duties, answer phone calls, and help customers out with their request. These requests consist of invoicing, expedited requests, tracking information and conflict management. The clerical duties consist of purchase order entry, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Advance Shipping Notice (ASN), and constant communication with the customer regarding shipping schedule. Work with different software’s like Thunderbird Email, Internet, Microsoft Office, and company system. Create NAFTA’s and Affidavits for customers. I work with production and shipping to make sure requirements are produced and shipped in a timely manner. Other assigned duties include serving as team leader for the customer service department which includes resolving escalated customer issues, issuing credits when necessary, assisting other customer service representatives, and executing managerial duties in the absence of the customer service manager.
