I am currently a student at Washington State University pursing a double major of accounting and management information systems. My plan is to finish my senior year in the spring of 2025, and then take my CPA exam in the fall.Since I was young I have always been fascinated with numbers and the different ways they interact. Math was always my favorite subject, so it was no surprise when I decided to pursue accounting. To the same extent I believe that my calm and analytical personality will bode well under the high-stress of busy accounting seasons.Outside of academics I enjoy outdoor activities and I often find myself swept up in projects and hobbies. I was a very active participant in my high school's sports teams, and I played volleyball all four years. I also was a member of my schools jazz band and wind ensemble. While in school I worked several jobs, all of which gave me insight into different industries, and their unique intricacies. My most notable experience is in customer service as I worked as a cashier for a little under a year. I consistently received positive customer satisfaction surveys and maintained high scorecard conversion rates. My work experience has provided me with many practical skills, such as, conflict resolution, communication, teamwork, leadership, and Microsoft-Office. I am very eager to enter the workforce and become a contributing member of a hard-working organization. I believe that with the skills I already posses, and the experience I will continue to gain that I can be a useful asset to any team.
