My tasks included: Modeling and analysis of patient journey from home via first-aid to hospital and surgery, then to rehabilitation hospital, ending to home with homecare services. The information and information systems were drawn together with the care actions taken through out the patient journey to show the ingetration and communication needs as well as needs for shared opereational models to guide the different care professionals.Consulting tasks in the company development: I first explored and draw the big picture of the company itself and then facilitated to conceptualize and describe expert and specialist services of the company.

Research on activity driven ISD methods in several projects and contexts; Process and activity modeling, needs analysis and requirements. Projects summary (Overall focus/my contribution): Yksilöllisen lääkehoidon välineet ja toimintamallit, YLÄVÄT (Means and models for medication information management/ shared operative models in cross organizational care network); ISD4D (A Holistic Information Systems Development Approach for Societal Development / method development, guidelines for modeling healthcare contexts, overviews and activities); Yksilöllisen lääkehoidon hallinta (Front-end study of medication management overview); KISMET (Research on IT service management; applicability and adaptability of ITIL in partner organizations / ITIL and work development); SOLEA project (Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach for locally adaptable Enterprise Architecture/ Enterprise Architecture and process viewpoints in needs analysis and modelling and 6-dimensioned framework for modelling, analysis and design of processes and activities); myWellbeing project (citizen-centric viewpoint in needs analysis); Tikesos (social care processes); China-Finland eHealth Partnership project (Applying former developed methods in different culture and context / Needs analysis in cross-organizational settings).

Projects summary (Overall focus/my contribution): ActAD-HIS and ZipIT projects (Developing a model and practical guidelines for Activity-driven ISD, combining work development and ISD / Several practical pilot projects in different health care organizations, in different ISD phases, mainly early requirements engineering and introducing a new system); PlugIT (Healthcare application integration / gathering and modelling information needs within homecare activity network).
