Designed and fabricated an in-house BMS for lithium cobalt polymer cells with 4-series 4-parallel configuration. - Constructed BMS consist of Master-Slave configuration which communicate with each other via isolated CAN comm. - Used Real-time IoT based devices for measuring temperatures, voltage and various parameter by UART comm.- TSAL(Tractive System Activation Light): Designed and fabricated a circuit to detect and indicate voltages higher than 60V outside the motor controller with the capability to handle failure of relay and mechanical damage to wires - Data Acquisition: Installed various sensors for real time monitoring of speed, throttle input & current. Coded Atmega328p for receiving, processing, and transmitting their data. Implemented I2C, SPI, UART and CAN comm - BSPD (Brake System Plausibility Device): Designed circuit to isolates accumulator when throttle & brake sensor fault. Built non-programable reset circuit using resistors and capacitors to reset the BSPD after certain period of time. - BMS and IMD latch: Designed and fabricated circuits to isolate the accumulator in case of BMS and Insulation faults
