I am a graduate of Indiana University’s School of Public Health receiving my Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology. While pursuing my degree, I was a Graduate Research Assistant and Research Intern for both the School of Public Health and the Center for Sexual Health Promotion to further my professional and academic career. I truly believe that we can make a change in our world together.As a methodologist in Epidemiology, I was able to develop an extremely strong background in research, evaluation, and methodology through research rooted within sexual health that concentrated on not only qualitative research but quantitative research. Our research focused on an array of topics including the effects of the interdependence of attitude concordance and genital self-esteem that ultimately influenced condom use between heterosexual couples. As a prior Sexual Health Educator & Program Coordinator at Indiana University, I had the privilege of teaching various undergraduate classes, including but not limited to: Introduction to Sexuality, HIV/AIDS: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, and Sexually Transmitted Infections: Respect and Protect. I have also worked as the Executive Chair of Condom Fashion Week, a university-wide program that is aimed to bring awareness and education about condoms while providing access to those individuals. Currently, I am continuing to build myself as an individual and applicant for future positions within the health and research field.
