Senior member of a team on the analysis, design and implementation of a Java and CORBA based Gas Allocation System for Mobil North Sea Ltd’s St Fergus gas plant. Using UML, Rational Rose and Jbuilder2. This is a Mission Critical 24x7 system. I was responsible for producing 2 C++ CORBA servers for the project (data transfer from OSIsoft PI to our system), prototyping them first on Windows NT then deploying them under Unix on the HP target machine. I also wrote 2 Java CORBA servers for OrbixWeb. The system was delivered on time and is currently still in use.
