My journey into IT began with the closure of the long standing Circuit City. I decided it was time to migrate West to find new opportunities and experiences after growing up in a very small town. I was given my first chance to shine in the public school system in Arizona and have been serving the public sector ever since.Upon starting with the school system, I was tasked with setting up entire labs and classrooms with IT equipment for one school and helped open the doors to students. It was great to gain experience from every level up; from laying the physical foundation to ensuring users were able to function in their role from the application level. All along the way, I got to experience virtual every aspect of IT from networking to application development and everywhere in between, all while pursuing a further education at WGU. Upon graduation, I was moved to the District level to provide higher level support to the entire district staff from an application support/development level. All of it helped lead me to where I am today in my current role as a Senior Analyst for my team. Over the years, I've developed more skills and understanding of both our products and IT as a whole. I've had the privilege of working with some of the greatest people both internally and with our client base, all while building trust across both respective groups. People value and respect my ability to ensure their problems are understood and corrected in a quick and professional manner. I pride myself on being the go-to person on my team and help to build-up other team members to be more successful in their roles. My specialties include the ability to grasp, implement and teach new technologies and techniques that further benefit the success of our deployments and troubleshooting, supporting clients in a SaaS environment using AWS, building and supplementing processes to improve the overall efficiency of our team, lead conversations that help solve high-level problems (including escalations from internal and external client sources), scripting processes to improve overall functionality/speed, all while building relationships with both our clients and internal staff. More technically speaking, I have experience with AWS/Azure, troubleshooting multiple versions of Windows OS (server and client), networking, security, coding/scripting, database (both data-level and administration) and IT project management.
