Telenor Pakistan, a subsidiary of Telenor Group, is a major mobile data and digital services provider.As a consultant on a project aimed at improving mango exports in Pakistan, I worked closely with Telenor Pakistan to identify and recommend technological and financial solutions for the entire mango export value chain. Our proposed solutions and analysis were instrumental in Telenor Pakistan being awarded a Euro 250,000 grant from GSMA for their m-Agri and MFS program, which will further support the growth of mango exports in Pakistan.• Telenor Pakistan was recommended to partner with players within the Mango export value chain and to provide them solutions to the bottlenecks identified through surveys, farmers visits, fertilizers and pesticides networks and agriculture financing institutions• Solutions were proposed to improve the exports using Telenor’s existing infrastructure of Mobile Financial Systems (MFS), Value Added Services (VAS) and suite of IoT applications.
