As the Director of Information Systems at Taylor Leibow, I'm responsible for the development and maintenance of internal applications and the creation of customized productivity tools that are used to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of all staff at the Firm. I've achieved this through my experience working with: CaseWare Working Papers and Time; Microsoft SQL databases, SQL Reporting Services and Office products; and various scripting languages. I've also developed and implemented the Firm's paperless office policies and procedures.I started at Taylor Leibow in January 1989 as a co-op student and then started full-time in January 1992 after graduating from the University of Waterloo. I attained my Chartered Accountant designation in 1993.In 2003, I became one of the first Chartered Accountants to attain an Information Technology specialist designation (CA•IT) which in 2014 was transitioned into the AICPA's Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) specialist designation.
