Worked alongside the Youth Services Department to develop and implement the ACES Initiative Program to support AltaMed patients that received ACE scores above 3 during routine pediatric visits. Provided supportive counseling, case management, connection to community resources, coaching for resource acquisition and IEP support to a caseload of 15-30 clients. Manage a team of six corps members working across two high schools in Westlake. Facilitate trainings to prepare first-year corps members for a year working in the classroom. Monitor weekly performance measurement of the team’s service to ensure 70 target students receive 15 hours of intervention time. Provided one on one and small group academic and behavioral coaching to students who were at risk of dropping out. Organized after school study programs that were available for all students. Managed case files for every child in state custody in Benton County, including tracking hearing and meeting dates, ensuring proper documentation was logged and managing communication with the county circuit court. Assisted in office functions and managed communication with volunteer advocates.
