Second shift MOD, Process check in/outs, Shift closing, access, address and resolve any guest issues. Maintain and adjust room inventory to successfully maintain a perfect sell. Ensure duties of the front desk and PBX are being completed on a daily basis. Weekly inventory and ordering of gift shop items, taking into consideration special events happening in the hotel. Assist in housekeeping needs during second shift to ensure guests needs are satisfied. Provide and cover breaks during shift.

Handled blocking, execute check-ins and check-outs, calculate third party advance deposits, hosting brilliantly, process new reservations, pre-register rooms for Elite Members, PBX operator, coach new associates, process and execute mobile check-ins, Resolve guest issues, Ensure guest amenities are delivered in a timely matter, Communicate all room issues to proper departments, Provide local knowledge to guests· Constructed an Intern Training Guide, Utilize G.U.E.S.T. and L.E.A.R.N. modules to ensure guest’s satisfaction, received Marriott’s Compass Training and Meyer-Jabara’s Journey trainingAs an intern:· Housekeeping; Inspect and clean rooms according to Marriott standards and supervise housekeeping staff while shadowing management· Dining Room; Host, assist servers with delivering the proper meals to appropriate guest rooms.· Night Audit; Process and post end of night reports such as; room & tax, checking bucket check, finalize and balance all food & beverage checks for the day, post and properly document all rooms reports according to the companies policy
