I have 35 years experience in the information technology area which began in the late 1970's when personal computers first hit the market. What started out as a childhood hobby has become a passion which continued throughout university education and founding of a successful IT business.My knowledge and experience of IT is a holistic one covering both the engineering and computer science perspectives. I'm a pragmatic person, so I'm interested in solving "real" problems. It was only natural to combine my passion for computers with my interest to run my own business, hence the formation of Omnivision Technology Solutions in the 1990s.I love drawing on my outstanding analytical skills and unique perspective of technology to plan and implement technology solutions to help my customers solve their problems... and even problems they haven't thought about yet! This is where the name Omnivision comes from – 'omni' meaning of all things and 'vision' being the ability to plan the future using knowledge and imagination. I love nothing more than seeing an idea of how to solve a business problem using technology become reality.Over the years, Omnivision Technology Solutions transformed from humble beginnings to become an undisputed leader in IT, specialising in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. In October 2015, the name was changed to Exigence to reflect this transformation. Our office was also relocated to the Melbourne CBD.
