As a self employed financial consultant in Sydney I consulted to a wide range of organisations from start ups to large established companies across a wide range of service and product categories, thereby adding substantial value to clients in financial areas such as accounting, financial systems and modelling, budgeting and financial and credit control.In addition I introduced and implemented financial controls with a number of clients and was also responsible for financial management and planning across multiple clients. In addition, I undertook SWOT analyses and implemented the outcomes in the most optimal manner. Furthermore, I successfully mentored a wide range of clients in financial areas, with outstanding outcomes.

Senior (C level) financial executive assisted in growing the group from R200 M turnover to well in excess of a billion rand. Lateral thinking, innovative approaches and excellent team work were responsible for much of my success as acknowledged by the Board. Responsibilities included group financial planning and modelling, financial strategy and reporting as well as treasury, group buying and taxation. In this regard I managed a comprehensive financial team and worked alongside the CEO.Other areas in which I excelled include time and project management and credit control, where I halved the average collection period.During my tenure, I played a key role as part of the team which successfully grew the group from being solely a security provider to a multi-service provider in a number of sectors including property development, insurance provider, micro-lending and corporate cleaning services, each of which was highly successful and contributed significantly to group turnover and profit.

During this time I was employed as a chartered accountan in the food & timber manufacturing, cleaning and accounting services sectors in South Africa where my financial skills, acumen and insight helped grow a number of companies.My main areas of focus at this time included financial management and planning as well as credit control systems and implementation. I was also responsible for implementing and managing a range of essential projects for stakeholders which greatly enhanced the scale and profitability of the organisations concerned and enabled them to grow well beyond growth forecasts.
