Business Owner
CurrentOne of my latest endeavors in the Graphic Design and Entrepreneurial industry, FOOGAZEEE is the result of my freelance journey crossing roads with my early streetwear and fashion journey. FOOGAZEEE (Foo-gah-zee) is a play on the concept of bootleg and "fake" merchandise. The name originates from the military term "Fugazi" but in it's street and urban context. Growing up in the south side of San Antonio; whenever I would hear the word "Fugazi", it would usually be referring to a shirt or piece of merchandise that was of poor quality or just a knock off of the original. I wanted to take on the challenge of completely changing the context and usage of this word, almost to the point where it's a completely different word. FOOGAZEEE is no longer viewed as poorly made or " fake", it's a new view of and celebration of bootleg culture. The message being, "learn how to make what was once established your own". This gives a creative edge on how to interpret established media and finding a way to tweak it just enough to where its a completely original piece of art but still recognizable from what it once was. Making it my own essentially. This is where I use all the experience I've learned from my years of working and volunteering in this field to make a product that harnesses all the beauty of the design lifestyle while keeping it tasteful. My responsibilities as a business owner:- Setting up an e-commerce website so I can more efficiently manage sales- Curating unique gurrella marketing tactics to successfully catch the attention of new prospects who can soon be good loyal customers.- keep tract of market trends so I can stay up to date and be ahead of the competition - Designing, Manufacturing and Producing my own apparel and content to distribute and sell amongst the niche cultures I involve myself with - Maintaining a social media presence through social media post, Digital Assets, Promotions, and newsletters so I can maintain a relationship with my clientele.
