Key roles include facilitating Cooperation Agreements with the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, coordinating MPA and OECM projects Consortium, supporting the development of GCF and GEF proposals, supporting project management for marine conservation projects, and advocating for policies to promote sustainable marine resource management.Key responsibilities:• Facilitated the development of Cooperation Agreements (PKS) between WWF and key directorates/agencies within the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), ensuring alignment with WWF-KKP strategic goals for 2024–2029.• Coordinated the implementation of MPA/OECM projects funded by donor consortia (Ocean 5, OceanKind, and BOF), including conducting monthly meetings, producing narrative and monitoring reports, and organizing evaluation workshops.• Supported the enhancement of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) proposal concept note through stakeholder consultations and collaborative efforts with WWF and external consultants.• Supported in Provided quality control for the GEF 7 Coral Reef Rescue project, offering internal reports on progress, challenges, and solutions.• Delivered progress updates for the Coral Reef Rescue Initiative (CRRI), focusing on GCF proposaldevelopment, MPA implementation, and coral reef conservation outcomes.• Advocated for policy initiatives and managed partnerships by actively engaging in stakeholder meetings to promote WWF’s strategic objectives.

The GEF project “Mainstreaming Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Use into Inland Fisheries Practices in Freshwater Ecosystem of High Conservation Value (I-Fish) is to support the Government of Indonesia, particularly the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) Republic of Indonesia to address the main threats of its inland aquatic biodiversity and to remove the main barriers to conservation and sustainable use of its inland waters.The expert will focus to support the National Expert for Integrated Inland Fisheries Geographics Information System (IIFGIS) and work closely with Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, and the National Bureau of Statistics staff in charge of freshwaters statistics through performing the following task:• Establish the model for data management for Inland Fisheries Management and its data requirement for IIFGIS based on international standard;• Establish data management system of Integrated Inland Fisheries Geographic Information System (IIFGIS) in consultation with the relevant parties of the Ministry;• Develop the module of capacity building for staff and relevant officers for data management for Inland Fisheries in consultation with relevant human capacity building expert of Inland Fisheries;• Conduct capacity development for ministry’s staff and relevant parties on the data management of inland fisheries.• Oversee the running of the IIFGIS and adapt as necessary to the system;• Validate data input to data management of IIFGIS system;• Provide regular updates data on targeted species of the project;• Contribute to project monitoring and evaluation;• Prepare and submit technical reports on all the major technical assignments;• Prepare and submit field mission reports and monthly work progress reports to PMU;• Prepare and submit the end of assignment report.
