Electrical Technical Supervisor - Electrical Eng'G Group
Current• Supervises the Electrical Integration - Programming and Schematic Group (EI_PS Group) comprising of four (4) Electrical schematic designers/programmers• Review the Bid technical specification (electrical requirements) on all major contracts (i.e. New York CNG builds, Washington, DC Electric Hybrid builds, Ontario Consortium Electric Hybrid builds, etc.) to determine the scope of work affecting electrical schematic design and programming requirements• Review of all electrical schematic design and Multiplex PLC Program prior to Production release, ensuring that the electrical schematic design and program logic functionalities complies with the Bid Specifications requirements , compliant with electrical codes and practices and incorporating latest Constant Improvement (C.I.) changes• Allocate electrical engineering design workload and manpower to support the successful completion of the various bus contract builds• Coordinate with other departments (Sales/Marketing, Product Data Management, Bids Group and other Engineering groups) to address all electrical related inquiries from the Transit properties (i.e. explained the details on how the Cummins engine shutdown procedure works after a hot engine scenario, etc) • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers in regards to new electrical system requirement interface (i.e. design integration of the following systems and components: new ZF transmission with full J1939 interface, new Allison Hybrid Propulsion system, new Allison B400 diesel transmission, Coencorp Automatic Vehicle Monitoring Systems , etc.)• Create all engine programs requirement (Cummins engine)• Create all transmission programs requirements (Voith, Allison and ZF transmission programs)• Create all diesel-electric hybrid programs (Allison EP40/EP50 hybrid and BAE hybrid programs)
