SUMMARYI have been the founder of two software companies and built both companies to be worldwide leaders in their respective fields. The first company developed and installed comprehensive enterprise wide systems designed for retailers, manufacturers and distributors. The second company was an Internet based commerce system for use by retailers(B2C) and distributors(B2B). Both companies employed and continue to employ hundreds of people. Today I play an active role assisting and advising senior management on how to build and operate their company to be a leader in their field.I am also involved in community organizations and support several charitable organizations in order to help those less fortunate. A project that I have been very actively involved with is at the Jewish General Hospital to assist them to obtain the most advanced technology to detect and eradicate prostate cancer in patients. We, along with the hospital created and support the “Rhona and Irwin Kramer and Family Prostate Cancer Targeting Center” This center uses the most advanced technology to identify prostate cancer and to eradicate the cancer with the least evasive procedure available today.I co-chaired a major event for the Jewish General Hospital in partnership with the the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation to raise funds to advance genetic breast cancer research, research on personalization and the most advanced treatments for hereditary breast cancer and to ensure access to genetic testing for breast cancer screening for women.Thousands of women with breast cancer can improve their chances off survival.The event, was attended by 700 people and raised in excess of $1 million.I am the recipient of the 2016 “Jewish General Hospital Foundation “ Outstanding Service Award” in recognition of “ his leadership as Treasurer and Grants Committee Chair and in appreciation of his personal generosity and devotion to so many foundation Initiatives and activities”
