As a Head of Design, my responsibilities and duties are:Managing the design team. Influencing design thinking across the business.A lead role in managing the design and creative elements of projects. Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organisation and that advance our brand and proposition strategy.Develop and manage productivity and to continuously improve the design team’s production capabilities.Ensuring that design and creative projects are delivered on time. Work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals.Provide quality control over design outputs and production.Establishing and developing a best practice with the design team.As a UX/UI lead, my responsibilities and duties are:Leading and mentoring our team of designers, responsible for designing our web and mobile apps.Work closely with our Stakeholders, Sales Director and Engineers to build out a first-class Customer Experience across our digital platforms.Connect and translate business strategy into tangible customer experiences.Management and prioritisation of the UX backlog.Own the UX and design processes, including tooling, design methodology and ways of working.Work collaboratively with Marketing, driving design consistency and embedding our design principles across the business.Ensure functional and design consistency across our digital products.Drive innovation and new approaches within an Agile environment.Improve our design capabilities through team maturity, development and growth.Design logic, layout and flow of the web app’s user interfaces based on information architecture.Create functional prototypes for rapid iteration.Follow-up on the final implementation of all features to ensure the proper execution of the user experience and design.Create an optimal interface layout plan.Carry out all other related tasks.
