I was in charge of the company’s incoming and outgoing support: providing technical guidance worldwide, as well as identifying prospecting leads and closing sales. I managed the company’s Sales Cloud (salesforce.com), which included creation of support cases, quote generation and opportunity tracking, and solutions knowledgebase management. Additionally, as a part of the company’s Business Development team, I provided technical expertise for creation of marketing materials and sales initiatives.

I facilitated all domestic and international customer support and technical troubleshooting for the use of the company’s nucleic acid amplification products. I maintained publications database for all Rubicon Genomics technologies. Also, I administered training to our customers and distributors worldwide to ensure a positive product usage experience. Furthermore, while overseeing the company’s Quality System, I managed the CAPA system, authored SOPs, product documents (manuals, FAQs, etc.), training materials, as well as released all new lots of products for distribution.

As a part of the Research & Development team, performed guardbanding/quality assurance experiments on one of the company’s products in order to grow the knowledge database of the product of interest. Supported customers who participated in the company’s Early Access Program. Finally, I authored a number of user-oriented instructions.

I edited manuscripts written by researchers with English as a second language (ESL), in the fields of Medicine and Life Sciences, in accordance with relevant style guides.

I was in charge of Cell Culture (both immortalized and primary cell lines) and delivering all cell-related technical support to my internal and external customers (worldwide). Furthermore, here I acted as a large order Project Manager and participated in custom derivative isolations (DNA/RNA), handled the processing of Express Bank and ProCURE Customer Orders, as well as derivative inventory management. In addition I authored SOPs, translated and reviewed clinical data reports and legal documents, as well as trained my fellow associates.

I have successfully purified and characterized E.coli’s ZupT, which is a transmembrane metal transporter and a member of the ZIP (for ZRT/IRT-like protein) family of transporters that are also present in eukaryotes. Here, I provided guidance to lab techs, as well as a Ph.D. rotational student.

I was in charge of mammalian (CHO-K1) and E.coli cell culture, as well as creation of stable cell lines. This position involved utilizing molecular biology techniques such as DNA isolation, Western blots, etc. Research of this group was focused on stress signaling and the inflammatory response originated from the ER and mitochondria that modulate cell metabolism and disease pathogenesis. I also provided guidance to a Ph.D. rotational student.

The primary research subject was eukaryotic cilium. As a result of this employment I mastered Drosophila genetics, molecular biology techniques, fluorescence and confocal microscopy. Moreover, I provided training for new students and employees.

While being a part of their Viral Immunological Testing (VIT) laboratory I gained an appreciation of working under very strict local and governmental regulations (FDA). I contributed to the American Red Cross mission by ensuring that our nation’s blood supply was safe to be donated to blood or blood component recipients.• Adhered strictly to FDA, CLIA, OSHA and GMP• Tested, on average a few thousand plasmas per night, for presence of HBV, HCV, Trypanosoma cruzi, or HTLV I/II• Utilized an Ortho Summit System and a PRISM

Health and Wellness Promoter for the National Urban League and Walgreens Wellness Tour: Detroit and Oak Park, Michigan.I was fortunate enough to get involved in my surrounding communities by providing free health services, which included: educating people about the importance of a proper diet, measuring blood pressure, body mass index, and body fat percentile.
