I carried out root cause analysis for a number of IFARs and RMAs, this included analyzing production data from SQL or setting up design of experiments. Other responsibilities included helping onboard new equipment and collaborating with our maintenance department to create the appropriate preventative maintenance schedule for machines ranging from plasma etchers to Scheugenpflug potting machines.

I am aware of when GD&T is needed and when it can cause unnecessary additional cost.

Mechanical Design InternSensata Technologies Jun 2018 - Aug 2018Attleboro, Ma, UsMy main project was working with the new product development team to create a test fixture for a new sensor. I was given several requirements for the design and was able to create a CAD model in Solidworks and complete the construction of the machine before the end of my internship. The internship was my first opportunity in industry to use Solidworks Flow Simulations to predict how the test fixture would react to large temperature changes.

Teaching AssistantIntergenerational Literarcy Program Aug 2015 - Dec 2015Throughout my college years I worked on and off with ILP as a tutor. The program gave me the opportunity to really understand how to teach and how the brain learns. I was able to use these new skills when tutoring in math, literature, and sharing in the children's classroom.
