Hi, I am a dietitian, currently working in pharmacy. In pharmacy, I conduct individual or group sessions to educate customers or community members about nutrition-related topics, including food labels and dietary supplements. Other than that, I also design and implement dietary interventions to customers so they can better manage or prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesityI have done my internship in National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ). During my internship in NKF, I provided nutrition counselling and education to the communities based on their medical conditions. Also, I performed health screenings including client’s blood pressure, blood sugar, blood cholesterol levels and urine test for kidney function. In addition, I also got the opportunity to design menus (Renal Cookbook) based on Malaysian cuisine that are suitable for dialysis patients.Meanwhile, during my internship in HSNZ, I have been given the opportunity to consult patients and provide individualised and evidenced-based nutrition care to help improve their health and quality of life.I am skilled in adaptability, it is one of my strengths that I hold highly in my professional career. I learn best through hands on training.
