As a community outreach manager at the City of Cambridge, I work with the Office of Mayor Siddiqui to increase resident engagement and empowerment in the city's initiatives and programs. I collaborate with various stakeholders, such as city departments, community organizations, and local businesses, to develop and implement outreach strategies that address the needs and expectations of diverse and underserved populations. I also serve as a project manager at the Boston Housing Authority, where I oversee the grant administration and coordination of the Charlestown Adult Education Center, a partner organization that provides educational and vocational opportunities for low-income residents. I facilitate community partnerships and joint ventures that benefit the Bunker Hill Housing Residents, and support their social and economic development. I have a bachelor's degree in political science and urban planning and policy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills in civic engagement, public policy, and urban design. I am passionate about working with young people, civil service, and bettering communities I am a part of. I have a strong background in collaborative project management, written and interpersonal communication, and mental health first aid. My career interests include education technology, social impact start-ups, non-profit organizations, and urban research institutions.
