The PhD project examines the supply of sediment from beach to dunes by wind-driven processes. Digital image processing is utilized to identify transport events in routine coastal imagery. In addition to research, I assist with teaching (including introductory Python course and Hydraulic Engineering).

Using a one-dimensional model, this research project examined boundary layer flow at tsunami scales and explored the relevance that idealized wave signals hold for field measured tsunamis.
