Isaac Appiah-Asare Koomson is a seasoned agricultural leader and practitioner with over five years of hands-on experience. As the Project Coordinator for Agriculture at The Builder's Foundation (TBF), he spearheaded the MASIRS (Making Agricultural Science Interesting for Rural Students) project, aiming to revitalise agricultural education among rural youth. Alongside, Mr. Koomson serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Greril Farms, a subsidiary of Greril Enterprise, where he applies his passion for agriculture to drive innovation and sustainable farming practices. Mr. Koomson is also creative, leveraging his talents to craft meaningful professional brand identities for companies like The Builder's Foundation, Xpose Africa, Ye-Yarn, and Woman Arise Network, among others. Mr. Koomson is deeply committed to agriculture and research for development. He actively coaches and encourages aspiring farmers and works to enhance agricultural yields and rural communities' standard of living. Beyond practical applications, his passion for the subject extends to his dream of becoming a reputable plant science professor in the future. With a stellar academic background, Mr. Koomson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Biotechnology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. Additionally, he holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Seed Science and Technology from the University of Ghana in Legon. His academic achievements have earned him several awards, such as the West Africa Centre for Crop Improvement Scholarship and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation Postgraduate Foundation Scholarship. Residing in Agona Odoben within the Central Region, Mr. Koomson channels his unwavering passion for agriculture to empower local farmers and contribute to the sustainable development of agricultural practices within his community.
