Knoxville native. Student at the University of Tennessee. Member of Army National Guard Aviation Branch.I am a senior at the University of Tennessee working towards a bachelor’s degree in finance with a collateral in leadership. I am a person who takes great pride in accomplishing goals. I joined the Army in June of 2022 and went to basic combat training and advanced individual training. It meant a great deal to me to face the everyday struggles of this training and conquer them. On graduation day I realized that if I work hard enough, I can attain any goal I set for myself. I continue to have this same mentality in my schoolwork. I have learned a great deal about the day to day operations of a financial advising firm through my part time job as a Branch Office Administrator with Edward Jones. Some of my business interests include global financial markets and personal financial management. My experience with finance at the University of Tennessee has prepared me to pursue a career in personal financial management. For example, Finance 425 investment/portfolio management has taught me the intricacies of managing a portfolio for risk-averse clients in a changing market. My career goal after college is to join a financial planning firm that will help me develop my skills and excel as a professional.
