Their active involvement in the implementation of both agendas ensures that their voices, aspirations, and needs are taken into account at all levels of decision making. To advance this goal, the Office of the Youth Envoy partnered with Austrian National Youth Council to establish the Africa Youth Reference Committee. The Committee comprises of twenty-five African youth representatives selected from all five African Union regions, and fifteen European youth representatives.

I work closely on the following areas: - Delivering technical support for the East Africa regional branch Offices of DOT KENYA, RWANDA, Tanzania, Uganda, and Ethiopia - Coordinating and facilitating Orange Digital Center: FabLab, Coding Schools and OrangeFab activities, Providing Trainings and Planing activities. -Managing ICT projects through to successful completion to ensure that they are delivered within required time, cost, and quality parameters,- Setting up and maintaining user accounts and associated attributes, allowing access to a network resources through approved channels such as Microsoft Active Directory Services and Azure AD; - Delivering user training as required- carrying out routine network maintenance tasks to allow access to network resources via ACLs/web resources;- checking and auditing new computer equipment on arrival and installing same as appropriate;- Initiate and execute mid-and long-term improvement projects- Set up user access controls systems and monitor user access for ensuring the security- Conduct regular security audits for identifying security Vulnerabilities.- Configure vulnerability management system throughout the cloud system- Manage and assist FabLab activities with the team from Orange Digital Center, Ethiopia -Manage the E-learning platforms are among the task I'm engaging at Digital Opportunity Ethiopia and Orange.

The Youth Sounding Board is a space for young people to have an influence on the EU’s external action through its international partnerships. Playing an advisory role to both Commissioner Urpilainen and the Directorate-General for International Partnerships, the Board will help make EU action more participatory, relevant, and effective for young people in EU partner countries, across all political priorities. My tasks and responsibilities are the following:- Informing: The YSB will keep the EUD informed of the most important issues for young people, emerging trends, concerns, opportunities and constraints. The EU will inform the YSB of their actions in Ethiopia and engagement or support to youth.- Advising: The YSB will play a role in advising the EUD in designing, implementing and monitoring programmes and strategies with an impact on youth as well as reflecting through foresights. It creates a forum to influence decisions through offering opportunities to young people to provide feedback, express opinions, and share new ideas and solutions on issues affecting them. - Communication and Visibility: Creating and maintaining effective communication and visibility of the activities of the YSB. This will help to raise awareness on the purpose of youth engagement in EU programming in Ethiopia.- Oversee the implementation of agreed actions set by the YSB - Maintaining professional and respectful relationships within the EU-YSB and with relevant stakeholders- Managing regular communications (for accountability & transparency) to and from Committees to all YSB members and the EUD- Formulating the yearly work plan for the board in consultation with Members and the EUD.- Maintaining professional and respectful relationships within the EU-YSB and with relevant stakeholders. - Disseminating information internally to Members and the European Union Delegation to Ethiopia.- Working with technical assistants
