Service manager and lead server for high-end Chinese food, drinks, and service in the heart of Beverly Hills

I was part of a team who built relationships with high school partners to inform high school students about the benefits of joining College Match. I visited 10 schools to present about these benefits and recruit students to the program for the 2025 class.I reviewed applications for the upcoming College Match LA class with a team of experienced counselors and directors of the program.

I served as a positive role model with high energy and mentorship, fostering a supportive environment for College Match high school students, resulting in an increase in student applications to selective schools with great financial aid. Then, diagnosed outdated website content and updating mechanisms in order to improve the efficiency of a website hosting scholarship opportunities for prospective students. I worked in with my fellow branch members to bring to life events on Middlebury College campus that connected the migrant community with the college community. Through collaborative brainstorming, planning, and newtork-building, with other student-run community organizations, we were able to successfully promote and execute three on-campus events per semester. Through collaborative brainstorming, planning, and newtork-building, with other student-run community organizations, we were able to successfully promote and execute three on-campus events per semester. We worked with the school's administration to get events approved and have funding secured in a timely manner. Additionally, we allocated responsibilities effectively as a 5-person team to ensure we created a welcoming space for the migrant community in Addison County as well as raised awareness of ways to help and connect with them on-campus. Our spotlight event, Stories that Migrate, which was started years ago by the members of the organization to provide exactly this safe and welcoming environment, was continued in the Spring. It was an open forum for anyone in any language to share anything personal relating to an experience of migration. With the help of the Anderson Freeman Center (AFC) staff and the rest of the JUNTOS Board, we were able to welcome dozens into the AFC with snacks and a space to share everything from poems and historic news articles to personal memoirs about their own and their families migration stories.
