As a Recruitment and Employer Connections Coordinator at Gies College of Business, I leverage my experiences in education, community building, and mentoring to facilitate employer engagement and on-campus recruiting activities. I have a passion for connecting students with opportunities that match their interests and goals, and for building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.In my previous role as a Community Coordinator at Belvidere Community Unit School District 100, I collaborated with school district administration and community leadership to launch the Community School Initiative, a program that provided after-school programming options for students and families. With the help of local organizations, I formed partnerships and supervised the delivery of quality and accessible services at a targeted school district facility. I also gained valuable project management skills by completing a Google Career Certificate in project management. I am eager to apply my community and project management skills to support the Gies College of Business in creating a diverse and inclusive culture that fosters student success and employer satisfaction.
