In this role, I oversee all earned revenue operations within Arena Stage, including Box Office, Group Sales, Events & Rentals, Concessions, & the Gift Bar.

In this role, I oversee all aspects of the patron experience from the moment they first reach out to Arena Stage or purchase a ticket to the moment they walk out the door. This includes all customer service functions for subscribers, singlet ticket buyers, group sales clients, and events/rentals clients, and also includes safety, security, parking, concessions and front of house operations. I also oversee all accessibility functions, the gift bar and some community relations.

• Support the Senior Director of Sales and Audience Services in day to day management of the Audience Services team. • Support the Group Sales department, including assisting with adherence to the marketing calendar, maintaining strategies and providing guidance to the team regarding meeting and exceeding revenue goals. • Process events and rental payments, cafe and parking sales, and assist with outbound team management. • In conjunction with the Assistant Director of Audience Services, oversee Tessitura system maintenance, including online sales path content, upsell operations, promotional offers, and inventory management; complete sales/settlement, data analysis, research and other reports and projects as assigned.• In conjunction with the Assistant Director of Audience Services, plan and implement day-to-day training of Sales and Audience Services personnel on Tessitura ticketing software and relevant procedures. • Responsible for maintaining the efficiency and staff retention efforts for the Sales Office and day-to-day operations with the main goal of meeting all revenue goals. • Maintain and ensure all subscription campaigns and annual promotion projects, including Surprise & Delight, are kept on schedule and executed per direction. • Coordinate listings and ensure that payments for all third-party invoices are settled prior to the end of the fiscal year.

• Lead the Group Sales Office and supervise Group Sales Associates in working towards and achieving revenue goals on both a show-by-show and seasonal basis. • Manage group sales marketing, both print and digital, by creating and executing an annual plan and keeping said plan within budget for print advertising.• Execute marketing plans with both print and online advertising; outbound calling; community visits; and other programs. • Cultivate new and diverse audiences and partnerships for a wide variety of programming. • Ensure our office maintains an excellent level of customer service to maximize retention within groups who attend performances at Arena Stage. • Coordinate events within the Group Sales Office and assist with events within the Communications department at Arena Stage. • Write copy for print and online marketing materials for groups.

• Reached out to prospective groups and organizations that might have an interest in seeing performances at Arena Stage; assisted them with booking and provided them with excellent customer service from their first contact with us through their performance.• Processed payments; generated contracts, invoices, and receipts for those who are booking with us at Arena Stage. • Designed marketing materials and write copy for group leaders to assist them in advertising their shows to their networks of attendees. • Strategized with our team both weekly and on a season-length basis about how to best promote our shows to our groups and group leaders and strategize who to best reach out to about the performances.• Hosted post-show discussions with artists involved with and in the show for group leaders who request an extra experience for their groups.

• Took incoming calls to the sales office for ticket orders, ticket exchanges, subscriptions orders, and other patron needs. • Advocated to patrons to purchase subscriptions and memberships and make donations to Arena Stage; during my time as a sales associate, I had consistently above average donation numbers. • Assisted with will call, late seating, subscription processing, and other needs the communications department had.

• Assist with all house management operations during the run of performances, including coordinating patron services and front-of-house operations with the box office, bar, and stage management. • Be responsible for the patron's front-of-house experience, including solving seating difficulties and questions quickly and professionally while keeping the patron calm and happy with their experience. • Train and assign responsibilities to ushers and assist with duties throughout the show, manage concessions, start performances, and run special events.
