A few years ago, I watched The Imitation Game (2014) and this quote stood out to me. It got me thinking, "the financial markets have never been more solved. Fundamental analysis is considered basic and technical analysis is widespread, so what's next?" Then it dawned on me, "I am good at math and programming and I have robust financial intuition, what if I can bridge these worlds?" From then on, I got sent down the rabbit hole of quantitative finance. Relentlessly pursuing knowledge, I self-studied various mathematical areas such as Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. Along the way, I also picked up proficiencies in Python and C++. I am working on applying my technical skills in the financial markets through a variety of research projects.Pitching and presenting passionately, I am outspoken and have aced every presentation in my academic career. Effective communication - both written and spoken - also belong in my repertoire of skills, allowing me to present my work and research in compelling forms.A fervent and driven autodidact, I am willing and able to learn anything that is tossed my way.
