o Managed a territory consisting of 8 WMSCs, 15 Harris Teeters, and 10 Publix, equating to $5.5mil in sales. During the 2021 year I grew my territory by $610,000 (+13%). While consumer demand was up throughout retail, utilizing consumer demographic data, analyzing marketplace trends, and tailoring retailer specific recommendations helped drive sustainable growth far above total retailer sales growth o Reduced zero movers utilizing masked IRI data as a leveraging tool with my market manager. By showcasing how high OSA’s in grocery accounts were driving take home growth, Market Manager agreed to assign specific associates to work candy( D1) full time across the market. $1100 lost sales per week was reduced to $240 per week driving significant growth in take home across the marketo Utilized linear modeling to analyze Walmart quarterly survey recommendations. The model developed was shared through ASDs and the Walmart team resulting in more accurate, sales driven recommendations. o Assisted in training four new RSR’s in the Charleston District, helping to develop consultative selling strategies, created enhanced excel training, data analytics training, and increased presentation skills o Provided enhanced visibility into distribution delays through connections with McLane personal and shared system constraints throughout the districto Advocate for Walmart everyday and seasons, Harris teeter, and IRI/data usage for the district. o Instructor for biomedical modeling and data mining and analytics for biomedical engineers at the university. Instructed approx. 80 students a semester on key principles in modeling and data analytics with a high usage of excel and RStudio data analysiso Created a guided approach to labs (excel based) focused on developing skillsets. I combined this with real world problems to focus on implementation of the desired skillsets. This provided students with practical knowledge and the situational experience to implement the skills learned across multiple functionso Reworked lectures to become more conversation, which aided in developing real connections between myself and students as well as in their own peer groupso Developed three week modular excel course emphasizing predictive and active modeling of systems. My responsibilities can be summed by reducing inventory, decreasing operating expense, and improving throughput. Some of the avenues I achieved this in were:Warehousing: I used data analytic tools to better allocate finished goods space which led to improved workflow, reduced forklift usage, reduced finished goods inventory.VMI: I worked with consignment suppliers and customers to appropriately decrease unneeded inventory. On hand packaging inventory was reduced 19%. While not disrupting workflow. Manufacturing:Implemented KANBAN signaling system to reduce WIP inventory, and alleviate bottleneck capacity. Logistics:Coded an integrated shipping planner and trained customer service reps. on the planner to more effectively build truckloads and control weight of shipments, while providing est. cost to customers
