As a Customer Engagement Specialist, I manage the sales in my segment from lead to close and facilitate the logistics of order fulfillment and invoicing. This includes submission and supervision of purchase contracts and process development.I also manage supplier relations as the point of contact for internal and external questions, opportunities, and concerns.Daily action items:- Qualify leads and perform needs assessments to ensure product fit.- Manage inventory- Negotiate price to maximize mutual benefit.- Close sales and issue invoices- Facilitate order fulfilment through multiple channel processes.- Develop new processes to increase internal efficiencies.- Manage purchase contracts and monitor equipment receipts.- Ensure proper internal reporting.- Organize detailed records.

At the Corvallis Country Club my job title was I worked in many areas of customer service. In my time at the Corvallis Country Club I had the great opportunity to work with a new team to rebuild our service brand and culture. This included cultivation of positive customer relationships, communication of value propositions to create guest buy-in, and implementation of creative problem-solving solutions. As a team we were able to transform the clubhouse atmosphere to create a positive experience for our members.

In my time with The Mainstream I had the privilege of leading a small team in production of a bi-weekly publication. This included story selection, schedule planning, writing, design, and editing. I was able to augment my leadership, communication, and team-building skills. This position afforded the unique experience of leading a team of individuals who had far more life experience than I. I learned to empower others while providing a structure in which we were able to succeed. As a result, we were able to win several awards among student newspapers in Oregon.
